The show was just plain great. I had a wonderful time and I got to see so many people from the past. My friend is here from NY City and I am flying to visit her next weekend. I was so tired last night that I just went to bed when I got home after a late dinner. It went well and I was offered another solo show when it comes down in a bigger venue, so no rest for the wicked. I got some really wonderful gifts and I am optimistic about the future. I think things will all fall together and I will not be sad about these little endings.

So happy that the show went well for you; see, there may be little endings but there are so many new beginnings ahead of you, so much to look forward to.You obviously slept the sleep of the triumphant so try & take it easy for a while & enjoy your success & the trip to NY City.
Nice to see your photo you are just as lovely as I imagined.
Just put this new avatar in place so that Berry/Boneman could see my latest watercolour. My face will be back soon.

Thanks to you both, it was a magical night and I am happy everything went so well. I wish those kinds of times would just last longer.

Yippee - I had a feeling it was going to be great - it usually is when so much work and energy goes into something like this. It does usually pay off at some point, and it sounds like it really did. Congrats!

Beta blockers aren't necessarily for old folks - a lot of musicians I know take them before going on stage to get rid of the shakes (I'm one of them, and I'm still young (ish)).

Alan's was the first blog I ever read - have wanted to blog ever since. I started to once, but I just don't seem to have the time. It's a bit scary, too, but I enjoy the blogs I read very much and would like to join this huge conversation, but I've only just started commenting (on some) as a result of a New Year's Resolution. Baby steps.

Actually, the day of Elaine's post about Alan's death I went to the skeleton of the blog I started and thought I'd post something about his blog as my first entry, but I simply didn't have time, and it was just so sad about Alan - couldn't do it.

Yes, baby steps for blogging. I started mine the day after I found Alan's. I keep it going although I can never come close to his. He was a master blogger.

I am glad you comment you are welcomed
