Ok, it is safe now for me to officially declare "I hate Sarah Palin". Yep, she sucks people. I am a woman and I don't like her, I am human and I don't like her, really I actually care about the planet and our environmental future so therefore I dislike her. She makes Bush look like a liberal tree hugger (not that I am not a liberal tree hugger myself). Read about it and prepare to gain your own hostile feelings here.

I'm way past hating her and moving on to fear and loathing. I was beginning to worry about you, Corby - what took so long? Apart from her disdain for polar bears and the environment in general (this is just the tip of the melting iceberg) she, like George Bush, thinks she is part of God's plan to usher in the end times - that the Iraq war is God's, plan, as is that pipeline. It blows my mind. She, like George Bush, can't put a sentence together that makes sense - or come across as anything but an over-crammed, unprepared freshman (no offense to freshmen intended) frozen in camera lights with the nerve to say, "let me get back to you with that." And there are people falling all over her! In her do over with Katie Couric she has the nerve to roll her eyes at the voter who called out a question to her about her position on Pakistan - as if she should be expected to have an answer ready - like right there - so she blames "gotcha journalism" for playing stump the candidate with her.

Dianne - any room for us over there? There is no place safe if Sarah "I can see Russia from my house" Palin is in the White House along with the 72 year old senator who claims to think she is ready to lead.

Sorry to go on, I've been avoiding that comment button for days, but couldn't hold it in any longer. Feel free to remove if too political, I totally understand.

DW- Do remember I was recently in her state and no she cannot see Russia from there. People are leaving Alaska because they are in a terrible economic crisis despite her having an open door policy on corporations who want to exploit resources. (now that sounds just like what this country needs(sarcasm here)) I was rather horrified when she was selected and yes there was an initial supreme dislike. I do want to generally give people a chance so I tried to not hate her, really I did. For a moment, but it passed and rather quickly I might add. Now I have this theory that Mcain may be harboring some feelings of racism, hence his miserable debate performance. I mean he should really control his temper at his age. Don't worry dw your comments are always welcome here, political or not.

Dianne,
I have visited your (and Jean's) blogs more than a few times - and have enjoyed my visits. My morning and evening procrastination routine involves stopping at various blogs. You and Jean are quite prolific and get tons of comments. Whenever I start to comment I get caught up in reading the others and I've forgotten what I was going to say. you guys have quite a following! I wish my procrastination routine could include even more procrastination - or less?! You know what I mean?
