I think it is shameful that conditions in the environment and hunting caused by humans have made any species of bird extinct. Corby, do you think anyone has really seen this phantom woodpecker,great if they had or is it just a plot to promote this town? I wonder...
I do think they believed they saw it, but I am not sure they actually saw it. I wish they did and I wish they could find one because if they do I would want to see one more then most things. Imagine to come back from extinction, but I am not that hopeful it has been too long.
