Ok, this oil spill is horrible and will have lasting effects on the future of our world environment. It is a global tragedy and action should be taken to remedy the problem. It is an environmental distaster which should not have happened. I have had quite few words to say about this around various blogs, if these companies are determined to drill for oil and gas offshore then they should make sure that there is more than one fail safe method of averting an accident of this magnitude. Surely they have the funds and technology to ensure that this cannot ever happen, if not stay away from the oceans of the world.
It is hearbreaking to see these birds and sea creatures suffering, suffocating and dying in this way, it it so cruel.
Don't these fools realise that the ocean is a living entity,it is to be protected and valued, it is irreplaceable, it supports the life of so many creatures and the livelihood of so many.
How can the ocean ever recover from this, how can this oil and sludge be removed from the ocean's surface and the shores where it has washed up and polluted? It makes me feel so sad and hopeless that this could be allowed to happen. :( xoxo ♡
